YOGA BASICS BEGINNER SERIES
every tuesday from september 17 - october 8 from 7:15-8:15 P.m. at kress studio
Learn the basics of yoga during a 4-week series (5 overall sessions) with a Flow Town Yoga and Yoga Alliance registered instructor in a warm and welcoming environment.
This beginner-friendly class series breaks down the fundamentals of a yoga practice. We will take it slowly and intentionally, shedding light on foundational yoga poses and taking the time we need to feel them and understand them fully. Upon completion, most students will be prepared to participate in basic or gentle yoga classes at Flow Town Yoga. The 5th session is a public class of your choice (Gentle Yoga or Basic Flow recommended).
Investment: $45 - includes a 4-week series and a FREE public class.
YOGA FOR FIT SENIORS SERIES
monday, September 16, 23, 30 AND october 7 from 11 a.m.-noon at kress studio
Develop a yoga practice that can help manage common age-related conditions and improve your overall health and well-being.
This 4-week series will demonstrate yoga's ability to build strength while increasing range of motion and flexibility. A special emphasis will be placed on poses that improve posture and balance. You will finish the series with the ability to adapt fundamental postures in a way that promotes a healthy, safe, and effective yoga practice.
Participants must have the ability to bare weight on their hands and knees and transition to and from the floor without assistance.
Upon completion, most students will be prepared to participate in a gentle or basic yoga class at Flow Town Yoga.
