I first found Yoga in 2009 in the gym atmosphere. I was drawn to it as I noticed the physical difference it made in all of my other exercise endeavors running, weight-lifting, etc. Gaining this new body awareness made my other fitness goals improve. I loved the unceasing challenge of new poses that continued to give me something to work towards. Yoga then grew to become a tool that brought balance emotionally and mentally in my life alleviating anxiety and depression, helping me move away from habits that didn’t serve me, and ultimately stirring joy in my soul.
After practicing for 7 years, I felt called to share this life-changing gift and trained to become a certified Yoga Teacher through Holy Cow Yoga Center in Charleston, SC. I graduated in 2016 with a training in a multi-disciplinary course of Hatha Yoga including Asanas, Pranayama, Anatomy, & Raja Yoga.
Today, I utilize my Yoga practice as a tool to harmonize the mind, breath, and body together and connect with peace and joy. I enjoy the artistic nature to sequencing classes and exploring poses on the mat. I teach all levels and typically a traditional warm hatha flow. I invite you to come share this experience with me through the challenge and practice of Yoga!
