Yoga Studio Etiquette
What to know before your first class:
BE WELL HYDRATED -
Drink water before, a little during, and after class.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE FLEXIBLE TO PRACTICE YOGA -
Yoga helps you develop flexibility.
ALWAYS HONOR YOUR PRACTICE -
This is not a competitive sport. Do not compare yourself to others. Be grateful for what your body is capable of doing today.
TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONICS -
And leave them in the lobby. We can still hear phones when set on vibrate.
BE ON TIME OR EARLY -
Yoga is all about escaping the chaos and tuning out the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Arriving late is disruptive to other participants. Arriving early also affords you prime real estate when selecting your mat space. 10 minutes should do the trick. Doors will be locked at class start time.
