Vanessa was first drawn to yoga for gentle exercise and movement for chronic pain but she realized yoga's ability to meet varying needs specific to individual practitioners. Practicing off and on for years, in 2017 she committed herself to a daily practice.
As an instructor she is dedicated to teaching and always learning more. Coming to the mat with a background in psychological counseling she deeply understands the many benefits yoga can bring - by uniting breath, body and mind.
Vanessa enjoys teaching to all abilities and feels that yoga is for every BODY.
When she’s not teaching or practicing you can find her homeschooling her 3 children, baking or gardening.
Vanessa is a recent graduate of the of the Kunga Yoga School's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training hosted at Flow Town Yoga and is completing an internship under Veronica Robertson.
