My first Yoga class was in Sacramento, California in 2008. I instantly fell in love with the practice because it gave me a sense of inner strength at a time when I was tempted to feel helpless. I was also attracted to the yoga community who faithfully met together from all kinds of backgrounds and abilities to grow individually and support one another.
I completed my 200 hour Holy Yoga International training in 2013 and used what I learned to lead classes at a Women’s transitional center in Folsom, CA. We returned to Florence in 2017 after 12 years abroad (California), and I was thrilled to find a welcoming yoga community at Flow Town Yoga. In an effort to deepen my understanding of yoga, and a desire to grow as a teacher, I completed the Baptiste Institute 200-hour training in spring 2018.
I look forward to sharing space (and Kombucha) with everyone at Flow Town Yoga for years to come.
