Cheryl’s first yoga class was in Sacramento, California in 2008. She instantly fell in love with the practice because it gave her a sense of inner strength at a time when she was tempted to feel helpless. She was also attracted to the yoga community who faithfully met together from all kinds of backgrounds and abilities to grow individually and support one another.
Cheryl completed her 200 hour Holy Yoga International training in 2013 and lead classes at a Women’s transitional center in Folsom, C.A. Returning to Florence after 12 years, she was thrilled to find a welcoming yoga community at Flow Town Yoga. In an effort to grow as a teacher, she completed the Baptiste Institute 200-hour training in Spring 2018 as well as a Yin certification.
